Photo Finish

摘要

The info-booth pavilion at the Amsterdam Light Festival was inspired by the event's theme: biomimicry, or the imitation of natural phenomena to solve human problems. Design firm UNStudio collaborated with manufacturer MDT-tex on the structure made of 316 twisting tensile textile modules. Openings reveal glimpses of the interior, where focused LED projectors create gradient color changes that mimic deep-sea bioluminescence.
