When the owners of 100 Summer Street decided that the Boston skyscraper's 8,500-sq ft lobby needed an update, they wanted it to speak to today's work-anywhere-at-any-time culture. Multidisciplinary design firm Atelier Cho Thompson catered to this by creating four zones to respond to varying workstyles, each tailored with appropriate furnishings. The lighting of each zone was customized by Dan Weissman, senior associate and director of Lam Labs at Lam Partners.
