Chinese partners signed for 'New Moscow' metro

Signed during President Vladimir Putin's visit to China in mid-May was a co-operation agreement between state-owned construction management company JSC Mosinzhproyekt, China Railway Construction Corporation and the China International Fund to build a new 14.9km (9.3-mile) metro line from the planned station at Ulitsa Navatorov to Kommunarka in the 'New Moscow' urban development project. The agreement outlines plans for the new south-west line, estimated to cost USD2bn and featuring six to eight new stations.
