摘要

To solve the problem of periodically explosive attenuation ofrnAl(OH)_3 particles in seeded precipitation process of sodiumrnaluminate solution, a systematic study was made of the effect andrnmechanism of ultrasound on particle size distribution of Al(OH)_3rncrystals in seeded precipitation. The results indicate thatrnultrasound significantly enhance growth of Al(OH)_3 crystals, andrnoptimize the particle size distribution. For instance, withrnultrasound, the mean particle size of Al(OH)_3 increases byrn4.37μm. The crystal morphologies show that the ultrasoundsrnenhance the agglomeration process and second nucleation process.
