Possibilities of Laser Measurement for Aluminum Processing

Effective measurement during processing of aluminum and other metals can save cost, time and effort. Implemented in steelworks first, laser measurement is now also applied within aluminum processing lines. Complete dimensions, surface faults, flatness, form faults etc. can be measured at 100% of production within the line. Fault detection before quality control and optimized usage of production equipment can enhance quality, reduce scrap, and lead to a higher percentage of output with required properties.
