摘要

A new method termed atmosphere-changing sinteringrnwas adopted to prepare 17Ni/(10NiO-NiFe_2O_4) cermet inertrnanode for aluminum reduction. Its corrosion resistance againstrnNa3AlF6-Al_2O_3 melts was compared with that of anodesrnprepared by traditional method through several electrolysisrntests. The results revealed that the anodes prepared byrnatmosphere-changing sintering method had better corrosionrnresistance against the melts. The wear rate of the anodesrndecreased from 3.12 cm/y to 1.10 cm/y due to the applicationrnof atmosphere-changing sintering. According to the SEMrnpictures of anodes after electrolysis tests, a 200 μm corrodedrnlayer can be noted in the outer zone of anodes made byrnatmosphere-changing sintering method, which was 240 μmrnthinner than that of anodes fabricated by traditional methods.
