摘要

This article introduces briefly the main organics sources in Bayerrnprocess alumina production and the harm due to accumulationrnduring process flows, specifies the organics removal methodsrnapplied generally in world alumina refineries, and explains brieflyrnadvantages & disadvantages of each method. The article stressesrnthe super-concentrated organics removal method developedrnsuccessfully by GAMI with Guizhou University together, whichrnnot only has good organics removal effects (total removal percentrnof 57~66%), but also effectively removes the carbonates in thernprocess flow.
