Editorial: Fachportale für Bibliotheken: Überlegungen zur Förderpolitik

The editorial discusses the framework of conditions set by the German Research Foundation's policy oi subsidies for the Virtual Subject Libraries during the last 15 years. One of the questions is how the Virtual Subject Libraries developed under the influence of the German Research Foundation's policy and the joint project "vascoda". Another focal point is the future development of the Virtual Subject Libraries after the conversion of the "Son-dersammelgebiete" (Special Subject Collections) to the Scientific Information Services.%Virtuelle Fachbibliotheken aus der Sicht der Förderpolitik der DFG innerhalb der letzten 15 Jahre: Es stellt sich die Frage, welchen Einfluss die DFG-Förderpolitik und das Dach-Projekt „vascoda" auf die Entwicklung der Virtuellen Fachbibliotheken hatten. Darüber hinaus bleibt zu klären, welche Entwicklung die Virtuellen Fachbibliotheken im Kontext der Umwandlung der Son-dersammelgebiete in Fachinformationsdienste für die Wissenschaft nehmen können. Das Editorial diskutiert die Rahmenbedingungen.
