EBSCO Reflects on 60 Years and a Bright Future

There's nary a li-brary that doesn't use products or services―usually both―from EBSCO Information Services and EBSCO Publishing. In 2004, EBSCO will mark its 60th year of supplying libraries with everything from magazines to electronic databases to management systems. The company's reach is deep―and it's just warming up. LJ recently sat down with EBSCO Industries president/chair Jim Stevens, EBSCO Information Services VP/division general manager F. Dixon Brooke, and EBSCO Publish-ing's division general manager Tim Collins to discuss the firm's course and its directions for future products and services.
