Schlager Launches Reference Imprint

The Schlager Group , a top-shelf, behind-the-scenes reference outfit that has produced big projects for Gale and other reference publishers, is striking out on its own. On September 17, the company launched itsrnnew multiformat reference imprint, which will feature a new series called Milestone Documents. The first title released will be the four-volume Milestone Documents in American History, which marries primary sources with expert analysis by 75 noted historians, e.g., Franklin Roosevelt's Pearl Harbor speech is reproduced in full along with historian Carl Rollyson's dissection, with a time line, illustrations, study questions, essential quotes, a glossary, related documents, a bibliography, and more.
