Austin, TX-based company Paratext has been getting a lot of attention on convention floors across the country, owing mostly to a product that promises to help librarians make better use of what they have (and may not even know they have) in their ever-expanding reference collections. Eric Calaluca, who founded the company in 1993 after six years in various roles with Chadwyck-Healey, sheds light on what Paratext and Reference Universe are all about.
