A year has passed since the events depicted in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo (see Fast Scans, U 9/15/10), and iiber-resourceful computer hacker Lisbeth Salander (Noomi Rapace) finds herself the target of the police and the bad guys with the impending sex-trafficking expose by her onetime lover (Michael Nyqvist). The second part of Stieg Larsson's "Millennium Trilogy," directed by Daniel Alfredson, offers thrills galore, even if it's not up to the first outing. Fans should be primed for the hornet's-nest-kicking finale.
