摘要

Originally produced in 2000, director and screenwriter Williams's first, and so far only, film gets a long-awaited DVD release. Beat-nicks relates the tale of two earnest young artists and friends, both named Nick-one a poet and the other a musician-who stumble upon a mysterious music-producing box whose magical powers could lead to life-changing success or failure. Fortunes seem to be on the upswing until a comically failed audition leads to divergent and increasingly convoluted paths for our affable but flawed heroes.
