On June 5, the Obama Foundation announced that African American history scholar Louise Bernard, outgoing director of exhibitions at the New York Public Library and a member of the design team for the National Museum of African American History and Culture, Washington, DC, has been named director of the museum at the Barack Obama Presidential Center, to be located in Chicago's Jackson Park neighborhood. Courtenay Reece, formerly Director, Bridgeton Public Library, NJ, for nearly four years, is the new Director of the Millville Public Library, NJ.
