摘要

Newly released from prison, young Daniel (Bartosz Bielenia) passes himself off as a priest, taking over for a small-town vicar undergoing rehab. Accepted by the rural parishioners despite-or perhaps because of-his unusually humanistic approach, Daniel gets pushback while trying to heal unresolved resentment in the lingering aftermath of a fatal car accident. Jan Komasa's Oscar-nominated drama features a compelling lead performance with its would-be man of the cloth saving not only himself but a traumatized community from the self-destructive sin of hate.
