Closed Georgia Libraries Win Reprieve

On August 16, three branches of the Middle Georgia Regional Library System (MGRLS) in Macon-Bibb County were closed and a fourth in danger of shutting down owing to a lack of funding. But on August 21, county commissioners voted to approve a spending plan that fully restored funding to all four facilities.
