Empresa de Infovias S.A. to provide cost effective, converged IP voice and data services for its corporate users

Nokia Siemens Networks is to design and build Brazil s first IP Communications network purely for business use allowing Empresa de Infovias S.A. to power the region s growing economy. Nokia Siemens Networks will deploy the Next Generation Network (NGN) for Empresa de Infovias S.A., enabling the operator to launch new, converged intranet, voice and data services for its parent company, Brazilian energy group Cemig, in a project, named SIM (Portuguese abbreviation for Multi-service Integrated System).
