Claro preparing pre-paid LTE offer

America Movil's (AM's) Brazilian mobile unit Claro is preparing a launch of pre-paid 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE) services later this year. The operator is looking to replicate its existing 3G and HSPA+ offers for pre-paid users, but at a slightly higher price. Claro currently charges US$0.50 a day for access to its 3G network and US$0.99 for access to the quicker HSPA+ system.
