摘要

Teramics hold promise for improved and unique electrical, piezoelectric, and mechanical properties. Template particle orientation and the potential for developing highly textured microstructures is best achieved by directional shear forming processes such as tape casting and extrusion. In addition, the initial physical microstructural environment for temperate particle growth strongly affects the path of microstructural evolution, final grain size and texture of the final ceramic. Intrinsic and extrinsic control of anisotropic grain growth is also an essential, element for texture development.
