Growth of NdBa_2Cu_3O_7-δ single crystal by a horizontal-bridgman like method

NdBa_2Cu_3O_7-δ (Nd 123) single crystals were grown by the horizontal-Bridgman like method in air, and under 0.1/100O_2 and 0.3/100O_2 in Ar atmosphere. High quality Nd123 single crystals with Tc of 94 K were obtained under the low O_2 pressure in Ar atmosphere using YSZ boats. The enhancement of the magnetization with increasing field was observed in the hystersis(M-H) loop in the field parallel to the c-axis of the Nd123 single crystal grown under the low O_2 pressure. The fishtail effect in the M-H loop is discussed for the crystals grown under different O_2 pressure.
