The overall aim of the Oxford Byzantine Ceramics Project is to study the production and exchange of pottery in the eastern Mediteanean in the ninth to thirteenth centuries AD, with particular reference to the glazed tablewares and transport amphoras found throughout the byzantine Empire. This poster will present some of our results in the ongoing programme of ICP-AES analysis of Byzntine and Crusader pottery from Cyprus and the Levant.
