The changes of electromechanical coupling factor K_p, dielectric permitivity ε and charge constant g_31 induced by the consecutive polings in one direction and alternately reversal polings on a soft PZT type ceramics were investigated. Disc shaped samples (15 mm diameter and 1 mm thick) from a piezoceramic material with the chemical formula Pb(Nb_0.02Li_0.007Zr_0.51Ti_0.463)O_3 were selected for the poling experiments. All the samples were poled in the following conditions: silicone oil bath, heated at 220 deg.C, electric field of 3 kV/mm applied and cooled down to 80 deg.C under the electric field, then field removed and the properties measured 24 hours after poling.
