Interface analysis on diffusion bonded bimetallic composites. Prt I: extended solid solubility

摘要

Two low alloy steels (AISI 4130, T11) have been bonded to several superalloys (Incoloy 825, inconel 625, hastelloy G3) and an stazinless steel (347H) by an industrial hot extrusion process, the final product being a seamless clad tube with an internal/external lining of these corrosion resistant alloys. The microstructures of the processed products have been analysed by optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM).
