摘要

Microstructure control of a typical non-reducible dielectric; BaTiO_3,-Dy_2O_3-MgO-glass frit system was attempted by the content of Dy_2O_3 and glass frit. The balance in their contents changed the sintering behavior. The difference of the sintering behavior had a significant influence on the microstructure. As a result of the microstructure control, the dielectrics with almost uniform solubility of Dy in BaTiO_3 grain was obtained. This dielectrics exhibited temperature-stable high dielectric constant and high reliability. It can therefore be applicable for large capacitance Ni- electrode MLCs with thin dielectric layers.
