Alternative Approaches to Creep Data Analyses for Ceramic-Fibre- Reinforced Ceramic-Matrix Composites

A variety of approaches, ranging from microstructural studies to analyses of creep curve shapes, have been used to identify the processes controlling the high temperature creep and creep rupture properties of SiCf/SiC and SiCf/Al2O3 composites produced with similar fibre types, volume fractions and architectures .
