摘要

In the present paper, we introduce particle settling into the fabrication of functionally graded material (FGM) in order to remove or eliminate the interfaces existing in the final products produced by the conventional powder-layered way. By co-sedimentation of particles W and Mo a green body with a built-in graded composition was formed. Finally, a W-Mo FGM with a smooth variation in composition has successfully been fabricated after hot pressing t 1523K under a pressure of 30MP a in a flow Argon for 1 hour.
