Preliminary Archaeometric Study on ancient Pottery of Puente del Arzobispo (Toledo, Spain)

摘要

Mineralogical characterisation and chemical analysis combined with other physical and textural studies have been performed in sherds from Puente del Arzobispo (toledo, Spain) settlement. The large depot (300 x10x 4m) has been originated from rejected samples and furnace wastes arising from the great number of the ceramic fabrics developed in these area, since the end of XV century up to today. In spite to the great importance for the spanish ceramic history, none archeometric study has been before envisaged.
