The wide use of mineralizers such as CaF_2 and others in the cement technology ensures powder and fuel saving. Investigations have been conducted for utilization of waste products as granulated blast furnace slag. Burnability and clinker phase formation studies have been carried out on different raw mixes of kiln feed with different doses of CaF_2. Also raw mixes containing different doses of G. B. F. Slag up to 10/100 were investigated. All mixes were ignited up to 1400 deg. C at different soaking times.
