摘要

A finite element model was presented for the stability analysis during sheet forming of unidirectional continuous fiber-reinforced composites. These laminates were assumed to be deformed at the forming temperature as incompressible and transversly isotropic materials with inextensibility along the fiber direction. At a prescribed deformation, a linear small perturbation was considered in the fiber direction and the response of material was numerically investigated. According to this response, the stability or instability of laminates at the prescribe deformation was determined. The procedure was used for the analysis of out-of-plane wrinkling in plane stress problems.
