摘要

In the research community studying material degradation in severe in environment, a number of experimental research activities are going on all over the world. It is definitely required that the integrated database for storing experimental information should be provided. In the present study, an integrated information system for material degradation has been proposed with two particular focuses; one is the development of the basic functions necessary on the integrated information system and the other is the on-line measurement system as an essential component of the system. The proposed system aims at accumulating the knowledge concerning the material degradation not only locally but also globally with the aid of the internet and database technology. Also, the system allows the researchers to cooperate effectively by sharing the knowledge, it is assumed that the researchers can work cooperatively and efficiently with the aid of the proposed system.
