摘要

This paper presents a damage tolerance analysis of multiple cracks starting from holes of a plate loaded by bending and tension. The analyses are conducted using the dual boundary element method and compounding method. An incremental crack growth procedure are used to perform the simulations, where stress intensity factors, fatigue life cycles and crack growth directions are calculated for every increment of the growth. The results obtained in this work are shown to be in good agreement with experimental results.
