摘要

The damage histories under the different stress triaxiality condition are studied by using the void morphology, which is measured from fracture surfaces. The materials using the tensile test are 2024-T6 aluminum alloys those are reinforced by 2% and 10% SiC particles. The stress-triaxiality of the specimens is obtained by changing the notch radius. The effect of micro voids on damage history is analyzed. The results shown, that the damage history has some reasonable relationship with the micro void size and shape, and new damage history evaluation method is introduced and discussed.
