Shot Blast Texturing Technique and Equipment for Giant Stainless Molding Board

Most study targets of surface texturing technique have been cold rolls so far. As an important process device of hot-pressing unreflecting plastic decoration plate, stainless molding boards must be light softened to form irregular reflecting lights and become under-bright. This is a deferent texture treatment from cold rolls. In this paper, surface unreflecting requirements and shot blast texturing (SBT) technique of a giant stainless molding board are introduced; a special kind of unreflecting shot blast machine is developed. The principle of operation, creative structure and key technology of the machine are further elaborated. Running for several years, it is proved that the machine has a large unreflecting area, high efficiency, low cost and practicability. The service field of shot blast texturing is extended.
