摘要

The effect of zeolites on hydrogen peroxide brightening of secondary fiber from wood mechanical pulp was investigated by studying which chromophores were eliminated in the process. The effects of the type of zeolite, reaction time, and concentration of peroxide were examined. A combination of Na-A zeolite or phosphoric acid-treated zeolite with hydrogen peroxide promoted elimination of chromophores.
