摘要

The paper establishes the possibility of effective removal (100%) of the toxic agent diisopropyl fluorophosphate from natural water by subjecting it to biological treatment in a laboratory aerotank with activated sludge. Parameters of the water treatment process are as follows: the original concentration of diisopropyl fluorophosphate - up to 100 mg/dm~3, holding time - 16 h, biomass concentration - 8 g/dm~3. Under the specified conditions the prevailing mechanism responsible for the water decontamination from diisopropyl fluorophosphate is nongrowth oxidizing biodestruction. With its growing biocide concentrations, the role of the sorption factor increases.
