摘要

Polyoxometalates have received long-lasting research interest because of their esthetically appealing structures and wide-ranging applications in catalysis,coatings,pigments,smart materials,luminescence,electrochemistry,biochemistry,and medicine.In the large polyoxometalate family,polyoxovanadates,especially the mixed-valence clusters,form one of the most interesting subgroups due to their known abilities to catalyze redox reactions and to act as cathodes in lithium batteries.
