摘要

There is considerable interest in the development of synthetic molecules that are capable of stimulating the expression of specific genes.Essentially,all efforts in this area have focused on making chimeric molecules that link a sequence-specific DNA-binding molecule with a compound capable of recruiting the transcriptional machinery,thus reconstituting a basic function of native activators.
