Rigid Oligonaphthalenediimide Rods as Transmembrane Anion-pi Slides

摘要

We report the design,synthesis,and evaluation of pi-acidic,shape-persistent oligo-(p-phenylene)-N,N-naphthalenediimide (O-NDI) rods 1-3 that can transport anions across lipid bilayer membranes with a rare halide VI selectivity (Cl~-> F~-> Br~-> I~-) and a substantial anomalous mole fraction effect (AMFE,Figure 1 and Scheme 1).
