Michigan District Saves With Green Upgrades

Taylor School District (MI) is implementing a $ 14 million energy conservation and building modernization program, partially backed by funds from the 2009 economic stimulus bill, to address deferred building and IT maintenance and improve the comfort and safety of students and staff. The district reported that the program, which will be implemented and managed by Honeywell, is expected to save an average of more than $550,000 on annual energy and operating costs.
