Wireless networking solution provider Aerohive Networks recently bought one of its competitors, Pareto Networks. The acquisition allows Aerohive to expand its cloud offerings and add Pareto's network-as-a-service technology to its services. Blackboard has released a major update to its cross-platform mobile learning management system, Mobile Learn 2.0. The new version expands the types of content users can create and upload via their mobile devices, features an enhanced user interface, and offers support for some Angel and WebCT customers.
