"We were among the first districts in the country, starting more than 10 years ago, that began installing projection systems with sound and teacher control. We felt the power of the internet was so great that you needed to blow it up and break down the walls of the classroom, and the best way to do that was with the ever-reducing-in-price projection systems that were out there. The barrier to entry and use is very low, and that's one of the things we pride ourselves on: making the technology ubiquitous and easy to use for the teachers as well as for the students. With that philosophy foremost in our minds, we have focused in the last two years on rewriting our acceptable use policy to a more three-dimensional, socially focused, interactive-publishing-focused experience for our students.
