Nominations are now being taken for the 2011 Sylvia Charp Award. Given jointly by T.H.E. Journal and the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), the annual award recognizes a K-12 institution's districtwide use of innovative technology. The winning district will receive prize money to go toward sending two representatives to the ISTE 2011 conference, being held June 26-29 in Philadelphia, where they will be honored and presented with the award. In addition, the district will be recognized for its achievements in both T.H.E. Journal and ISTE's membership magazine, Learning and Leading With Technology.
