Superconductors with singular energy spectra

摘要

A generalized BCS-like model of superconductor with singularities in energy spectrum is considered. The singularities can significantly enhance the T_c by (i) increasing the total number of active states, and (ii) redistributing the active states more effectively. Both phenomena are discussed and calculated for a sample set of singularities.
