ON THE DYNAMIC MODELLING OF FIBROUS COMPOSITES

摘要

The aim of this contribution is to propose a new simplified approach to the wave propagation problem in periodic fibre-reinforced composites. The analysis is based on the concepts of the refined macrodynamics, The main advantage of the proposed approach is that it yields simple analytical formulae for spectral lines and hence avoids troublesome calculations connected with numerical solutions to the boundary-value problems on the unit cell. The investigations are restricted to the linear-elastic composites with perfect bonding between constituents.
