摘要

Switching of a light beam at an optically nonlinear interface is modeled numerically for the case of a negative nonlocal nonlinearity, with homogeneously averaged changes of a nonlinear refractive index. The switching at the interface is considered as a nonlinear boundary value problem governed by the nonlinear Helmhotz equation. Assuming a Gaussian incidence, a monotone iteration procedure (Monotone Iteration of Gaussians) is applied. A nonspecular character of the beam-interface interaction is shown. The optical bistability is observed in all nonspecular parameters of the beam.
