Managing archival resources in the digital domain is a challenging prospect for most archivists and their institutions, and the title of this book, which sets archives in the notion of cyberspace, provides a suitably complex image of extended, internationally interconnected notional environments within which electronic communication now occurs. Although cyberspace may not have any real existence except that perceived as such by an observer, the problems it creates for practitioners and users are of course all too real.
