Robin Martin Gard (1926-2005)

Robin Gard, retired County Archivist of Northumberland, died on 1 May 2005, aged 79. Born near Dundee, where his father was serving in the RAF, Robin nevertheless considered himself a true Cornishman and retained a great affection for that county. He was the youngest of four boys, one of whom, also in the RAF, died in action in World War Ⅱ.
