Effects of temperature and weight hourly space velocity (WHSV) on catalytic performance in liquid phase dimethyl ether synthesis from syngas were studied under 3.0 Mpa, impeller speed of 1250 rpm, temperature range from 250 to 280 deg. C and WHSV range form 4000 to 7000 mL/(g·h). At a constant temperature, as WHSV increased in the rang studied, the decreases in conversions of CO and H_2 were observed. DME productivity reached its maximum at WHSV of 6000 mL/(g·h). AT 250 deg. C, methanol selectivity increased whereas DME selectivity decreased with WHSV increasing.
