摘要

Isomerization of butene to isobutene is a commercially important process for the production of MTBE. Zeolites, as acid catalysts, might catalyze this isomerization if both acidity and pore size are suitable to achieve desirable activity and selectivity~[1]. If the pore size is too large, such as zeolite Y which has supercages of 13 A in diameter with openings of 7.4 A, coke formation in the large pore rapidly deactivate the zeolite catalysts.
