In the classical differential geometry, by a curvilinear web one means a set of several families of smooth curves given on the plane, on a surface of a homogeneous space, or on a certain two-dimensional smooth manifold. One line of each of the families passes through every point of the corresponding domain, the lines of the web are pairwise transversal at every point, and every point admits a neighborhood in which each of the families composes a foliation.
